Catering by arrangement - Just give Noosa River and Canal Cruises a call after booking to pre-order.
There are two collection points: ‘The Jetty’ 186 Gympie Tce, (Noosaville) and The Sofitel Hotel Jetty (Noosa Heads)
Departure times do change seasonally with the sunset hours. Once you have made your booking, please text or call the operator on the day or leading up to the day of travel for an exact departure time. All contact information will be on your confirmation email.
On occasion, bookings may have to be altered or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event this is required a full refund will be issued

Entspannte, ein wenig unspektakuläre Bootstour
Achtung! Man bucht die Tour mit einer angegebenen Startzeit, die aber nicht verbindlich ist, sondern leicht abweichen kann (in unserem Fall 15 Minuten früher). Also besser nochmal Kontakt mit dem Veranstalter aufnehmen kurz vorher. Die Tour selbst kreuzt durch die Abcshnitte des Noosa River zwischen Noosaville und Noosaheads, bietet Ausblicke auf schicke Ferienhäuser, Mangrovenwald und mit etwas Glück einem Sonnenuntergang hinter den Glass House Mountains. Die ganze Angelegenheit ist formlos und relaxed und eine mehr gemütliche als aufregende Angelegenheit. Mitgebrachte Kaltgetränke können an Bord in Eis gekühlt werden. Gläser werden gestellt. Gut fand ich, dass der Guide/Bootsführer nicht nur Reiseprospekttexte heruntergebetet hat, sondern u.a. auf das Problem aufmerksam gemacht, dass die meisten der Häuser am Wasser über weite Teile des Jahres leer stehen, weil sie von ihren wohlhabenden Besitzern nur in deren Urlaub genutzt werden.

Lovely trip
A great way to spend two and a half hours with a couple of drinks looking at amazing waterfront houses, birds and watching the sun go down

relaxed in den Sonnenuntergang
ganz gechilled den beginnenden Abend genießen. Tipp: In Jetty zusteigen, da beginnt die Fahrt, man hat die beste Auswahl an Plätzen. Wir saßen oben und waren begeistert. Der Kapitän erzählt ein bisschen zu Noosa und man schippert gemütlich dahin, vorbei an den Schönen und Reichen. Bei einsetzender Dunkelheit kamen die Flughunde zu hunderten über uns hinweg geflogen .... Gänsehaut pur....
