Paddling towards Double Island Reef, your first stop is the famous turtle spot where Green and Hawksbill turtles can be found. Continue on to explore the native mangroves before stopping off at Double Island, where you have the opportunity for a quick swim or time to relax on the beach.
Some of the amazing marine life you might see on your sunrise tour include Eagle rays, Shovel nose sharks, Mangrove rays, colourful fish, and sea turtles! The tour finishes by paddling into Buchan’s Beach if the wind picks up, or heading back to Palm Cove if the wind is calm.

Awesome Experience at Palm Cove
We Highly Recommend doing the Sunrise Turtle Tour on the Kayaks. The tropical waters are not cold, the sea was calm and the day was perfect, all at a very Relaxed pace. We really enjoyed the whole experience, thanks to our guide Andy, who gave us a tour of the ruins of a resort on Double Island. And we saw a turtle swim between our kayaks on the paddle back to Palm Cove. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Fantastic experience excellent company
Fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the crew were excellent and very welcoming. Highly to anyone visiting far North Queensland.

Perfect
This tour was amazing absolutely beautiful watching the sunrise seeing the turtles and Luke was amazing. I have never kyaked b4 and felt safe all the way my daughters and husband also loved definitely would do again
